Xbox Social Media through Ayzenberg

As a Copywriter for Ayzenberg, I was assigned to the company’s Xbox account. I dealt with social media accounts for Xbox, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram (Including Stories and Reels as well as Grid posts), Snapchat, and TikTok.

(NOTE: Ayzenberg did not handle direct Twitter replies from these accounts, this was apparently an entirely different company.)

As a member of Team Green, as we were, I produced a variety of content and copy, including sale announcements, title announcements, QRTs between partners, and updates regarding the Xbox Blog (They did not take my suggestion to rename it the XBlog).

While each piece of copy was designed to inform, entertain, and engage, the engagement copy in particular was more “content” than “ad”, which was always a fun challenge to create. This included images, videos, and occasionally text posts designed to promote or sustain an upcoming release to Xbox or the Game Pass services.

We took special care to craft our content and copy according to the nuances of whether the title was coming to Xbox, releasing that day, or had been available for a while, all while maintaining the specific voices of each account.
